Job Summary

The Advanced Aesthetic Injector is responsible for delivering exceptional patient care through elective cosmetic procedures such as injections, facials, and laser treatments. The role includes performing patient consultations, maintaining detailed medical records, and ensuring high standards of safety, efficacy, and patient satisfaction.

Education & Experience

  • Preferred: Minimum of 5 years of experience in aesthetic procedures.

Qualifications

Nurse Practitioner (NP):

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program.
  • Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licensure.*
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.*
  • Certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or the American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC).

Physician Assistant (PA):

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program.
  • Current Physician Assistant (PA) licensure.*
  • Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).

* Licenses must be valid in the applicable state or disclosed to the hiring team.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care aligned with clinic guidelines and state-authorized practice standards.
  • Perform injections, facials, laser treatments, and other aesthetic procedures as appropriate to training and experience.
  • Conduct thorough patient consultations, including medical histories and pre/post-procedure photography.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate medical records, documenting treatments, medications, and patient education.
  • Deliver follow-up communication to patients, ensuring understanding of their treatment plan and outcomes.
  • Coordinate retention efforts through personalized correspondence and care plans.
  • Track referral sources and express gratitude through letters and consultation follow-ups.

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Ensure patients are informed about being treated by a registered nurse, as applicable.
  • Collaborate with the supervising physician on delegated patient services and establish care guidelines.
  • Maintain treatment rooms and work areas in compliance with OSHA and company standards.
  • Manage injectable product inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and timely restocking.
  • Participate in training, continuing education, and maintaining knowledge of the latest aesthetic trends and technologies.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of advanced medical aesthetic treatments, including laser therapies, chemical peels, microneedling, and facials.
  • Conduct thorough consultations to assess clients' skincare needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate client records, ensuring compliance with clinic protocols and industry standards.
  • Provide pre- and post-treatment care instructions to ensure optimal results and client satisfaction.
  • Educate clients on proper skincare routines and recommend appropriate medical-grade skincare products.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless client care and an exceptional clinic experience.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in aesthetic treatments, skincare technologies, and industry trends through continuing education.
  • Ensure all treatments are performed in accordance with safety guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Registered Nurse (RN):

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current licensure as an NP or RN, as required by Tennessee state regulations.*

Laser Technician or Medical Esthetician:

  • Certification in laser technology or medical aesthetics, as required by state regulations.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical aesthetics or cosmetic dermatology.

Preferred Experience & Skills:

  • Proficiency in laser treatments and familiarity with various laser technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of skincare products and their applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building trust and rapport with clients.
  • Detail-oriented and committed to providing high-quality care.
  • Passionate about aesthetics and delivering natural-looking results.
